Tandon Latch Plate

The latch plate attaches the front door to the Cone Lever Assembly using to white plastic Latch Pins. This part can crack and will not hold the Latch Pins in place.

Front Doors

The front doors on the drives are interchangable. Count the heads to verify that the label is correct.




 
 
PCB Mounting Rails and Locating Tabs
 
The circuit board mounting posts behind the bushings can crack and break. The Locating Tabs can break too. The guide rail is glued to the chasis with a small drop of glue (permabond, Superglue, or other cyanoacrilic adhesive on top of the front panel locating tab.
